The school was located at Cartierville near Montreal and the course lasted about one month before the advanced course at Trenton Ontario. Montreal Dear Gals, The
CCA trip was swell, the hangover not so swell. Tomorrow I go through the
formalities of enlistment. Received rather a warm welcome from old acquaintances
F/O (Flying Officer) McCrea, Monsieur Douglas, Chief Flying Instructor
of Instructors. It looks like an Instructors job for me. I spent last night
at the Picadilly Club of "The Mount Royal" with Wentworth, Douglas, and
a few North Atlantic Ferry Pilots. |
