son of the Governer of New York, Herbert
Lehman. Peter was a
New York City Banker
and married with two
kids. In September of
1941 he joined the
RCAF, in 1943 he
transferred to the USAAF and the fourth
Fighter Group, the
same group my Dad
joined in 1944.
